Blessed oil
Isaacl as an American Orthodox jew ,we tend to be more Rational.We studied in Universities ,have professions,make a living and have Social Interations with Gentiles due to work ,commerce etc. I myself was in culture shock when I saw red strings being sold at Rachel Tumb or at Rabbi Shimon bar Yochais Tumb. I was in culture shock when I saw at certain Torah gatherings Wine or oil which has been blessed by a Rabbi or Makubal being sold for Tsadukkah purposes.Culture shock!! Actually the first time I was at a particular Synagogue and MITSVAHS were being sold--Ptechat Hahachal,Aliyahs Rimonim etc.Again culture shock.I learned over the years that there are other JEWS other then us Ashkenazi ones. I learned to accept the behavior of others no matter how different they might be from my norms. I learned to understand that there are other mentalaties others then those I was brought up with. I have learned to accept them as long as they dont negate Halachah.So what if there are those that drive in vans and when they reach a traffic light they decide to jump out an pop up and down singing Na Nana Nachman(or what ever they sing) We are all different and we must learn to accept each other as we are,up to a limit of course .For me that limit is Halachah.
