הסרט נראה כמו טריפ של LSD (לא שזה בהכרח רע). חבר'ה עם שיניים שיוצאות להם מהבטן אנד סטאף... הם קצת הגזימו עם כל היצורים. אבל חוץ מזה, סרט טוב מאוד. ואם כבר פתחנו בנושא, יש לך אולי עוד המלצות לאנימות ערפדים?

אתה בטח תזכור כמו גם את האורגנים שכפו על הפדרציה והקלינגונים הפסקת אש שהחזיקה שנים רבות. אגב, מה רע בסרט החמישי? לדעתי אחד המשעשעים של הסדרה, רצוף קילשאות והומור עצמי...

! I Love the 5th Movie

I Find it to be the most "Trek" out of all the Trek Movies, but most people don't like it cause of the low budget that was given for it.​

היה את הקטע שבוא קירק מתווכח עם ספוק על האח שלו, זה היה משהו כזה:

Kirk: You don't have a brother, and I know that for a fact! Spock: That is Correct Kirk (to McCoy): See, see!! Spock: He is my half brother Kirk: I Need a Chair (then a chair comes out of the wall)​

והקטע השני שבוא סקוטי משתמש במורס כדי לסמן להם להתרחק מהקיר:

Kirk/Spock: Stand Back ? Stand Back!!! Scotty: What are ya standing there for ? do you know recognise a jail break when ya see one ?​

אין כמו הסרט החמישי! פשוט גדול! מצחיק ומלא פעילות ולא כל כך רציני!

Scotty( to a crew man): How many times do I have to tell ye, the right tool for the right job McCoy(laughing): I don’t think I ever saw him happier אגב, הרב בנט, המפיק של הסרטים הראשונים, משחק בתור קצין המבצעים של Star Fleet ששולח את האנטרפרייז למשימה. וודאי גם ידעת שהבת של שאטנר היא זו שמגישה לו את יומן הספינה (המתפרק).

He starts rocking in his chair, and then McCoy goes: What's Wrong ? Kirk: I Miss my Old Chair Or when Spock tells Kirk to be "One With the Mountain" and then when they ride the horses Kirk tells Spock "Be One With The Horse"

And the Scene when Kirk falls from the Mountain and Spock grabbs him by the angle before he becomes one with the rock and McCoy runs over: Spock: Perhaps "because it is there" is insufficent reason for climbing a mountain Kirk: I'm hardly in a position to disagree! Kirk: Hey McCoy, mind if we drop down for dinner ?​
