where the "more money" issue just does not fly with, my case is one My daughter& her husband had offers for 40 percent more money (in US dollars) and they declined to take it. Yes, quality of life here matters, and REAL COST makes the value of your income better then the rate of exchange suggests. Look at what you get here for the money, convert it to US dollars & see for yourself. Even cars are up to 20% less expensive here. Add the cost of similar coverage in a medical HMO, and schooling for kids, where the US public system is far inferior to the Canadian one and you get a very different picture. I have property in Arizone (I am going there in two weeks), and I can tell you my wife does not want to live there for more then two weeks per year. I can tell you crime stories & more, but you already know everything better then me anyhow...
