Laughable.
You commend the people for their restraint and adult reactions?
Let's see. I replied to a discussion that was going on in another thread, and I said some things about colonialism and the moral cornerstones of Israeli society. Then that discussion got a bit out of hand. First I was called a racist for talking about Israel, and then when I explained that Jewish people and Israelis are all the same as all other people, I got told that "we're special".
Then it really got out of hand. So far I have been called:
- An anti semite, Jew hater, Israel hater
- Traumatized
- Damaged
- Cynical
- Disgusting Filthy Character
- Extremist
Someone even took the trouble to send an SMS to my wife's mobile phone number to tell her I was the biggest Ars, lowlife and idiot she knew.
In the mean time, the wildest things are being said about what I said. Only half of those have bearing on what I really said, and half of those were far-fetched interpretations, knee jerk reactions and shouting contests. Then there have been Ad hominem attacks and answers that blatantly ignored anything I said before.
Literally the ONLY person that ever reacted in a civilized and factual manner is Afon. He is the only adult amongst the bunch. Maybe Etnozam too.
The rest of them? The adjective of choice would certainly not be "restrained" or "adult" by any stretch of the imagination. Shame on you. Really.

In my opinion you gave credit where none was due, so I will spoke my mind.
As the Frysian monument of the Battle of Stavoren (1345) exclaims: "Leaver dea as slaaf". Rather dead than subjugated.

While we're being frank and earnest...
The fact that you and Smaak are having such a jolly time of hating my guts seems to illustrate the fact that there's nothing that unites people as well as a common enemy.
For the longest time I have had to hear of the issue of a group of people that really has had a good run of destroying the atmosphere in this forum: Smaak, Chalav Muktzaf, Tatybar, Trixie and few others. These people were blocked, reprimanded, blocked again, moved to Facebook and came back to generally spread messages of discontent and negativity throughout the forum. Espresso kindly said he'd never seen so much racism coming out of two people while he previously has had nothing good to say of Holland and it's inhabitants, including Barbaric Moroccans.
You and I had a previous discussion in private messages in which I explained a sub-set of the same ideas to you that were put forth here, and in that discussion you said you had an issue with my cold, scientific logic, and preferred the emotional, romantic view, but we ended the whole thing on extremely pleasant and civilized terms. "Have a great day", right?
However, now in this public debate you smell blood on the tracks, accuse me of the exact opposite, namely not being logical and ally yourself with the same people for who you previously expressed a somewhat distinct dislike.

All joking aside, let's be serious about this for a second. Are you actually out of your bloody mind? I really do feel you ought to get your head examined if you want to stoop to these levels of spewing malingering rubbish in this forum.

אחד הדיונים הכי מפגרים ומיותרים ומבחילים שאי פעם היו פה.
ברור למה את לא יכולה לנהל את הפורום יותר.
היית צריכה להראות קונסיסטנטיות ולחסום את מי שמתבטא בצורה כל כך מגעילה.

נורא נוח לפרוש ואז להתחיל לזרוק בוץ.
