Packing your bike.
Hi, Just go to your local bike shop, and ask them for a bike box. You also need to buy some bubble wrap. Before putting the bike in the box, dismantle the front wheel, the handle bar with the stem still attached, the pedals and the seat with the seat post. You should also ask your bike shop for a plastic spacer to put instead of the stem, so that the fork isn't free to move in the frame/headset. Wrap the frame and the in bubble wrap, wrap the gears with some cut cardboard and tape. Take some air out of the tires (the baggage compartment in the plane may not be presurized), and zip tie the front wheel to the frame. Thats it more or less.
