running out of time

I want to thank everyone for all the support and advice they have given me during my stay in Canada. But since I haven't been able to find work or a place to live, unless something comes up immediately, it looks like I'll be forced to head back to Israel. I had hoped to be able to stay here until I achive some sort of status, but my money has just about run out. I'm not looking forward to going back as there isn't much for me back there either. I have very much hoped to meet some of you while I was here and if and when I do return perhaps we can do that. In the meantime, I hope to keep in contact with all of you through the board and if you have any other ideas and suggestions, please don't hesitate to let me know. Noa

I mean, it looks like I'll have to find a way back after this week unless something works out for me in the last minute. And boy, am I really not glad to go back....

ממש בא לבכות על מכתב הפרידה שלך. את נשמעת מיואשת מאד וכמה עצות שנסינו לתת לך משום מה כלום לא עוזר. אני לא זוכרת אם כתבת כאן מה מקצועך? ואם אין ברירה חייבים לעבוד בעבודות מזדמנות כמו אחרים ובכל זאת לצוף עם הראש מעל המים. הענין הוא שכפי הנראה את לא כל כך מתאמצת למצוא תחליף אחר. במה את מוכנה לעבוד? כתבי כאן דוגרי ואני מאמינה שיהיו כאלה שיוכלו להפנות אותך לכל עבודה שהיא.

I met quite a few people with good intentions, but I have had bad luck and nothing came out of it. I am not picky as to what I'm going to work as. I mean, I even tried looking for work as a waitress and so far, no luck. I tried factory work and couldn't find any. I mean, really, I'd do any kind of work, regrdless of my real skills and qualifications. I mean, if someone would hire me as a teaching assitant in a kindergarten or something (I worked in day care in Boston), I'd be delighted, but I am also a realist. and i know how much people are afraid to hire someone who is currently illegal (btw, the situation is very different in Boston). That's why i'm feeling kind of desperate. I don't want to go back, but I am running out of money here....

hello Canadian singles out there

just kidding. marrying someone for visa is kind of... I don't know, dishonest? and slso has a potential to become a real disaster later on. I mean, if I'm going to marry anyone is should be for the right reasons, right? and if he happens to be Canadian, great, but you know, sponsoring a spouse for immigration is a major responsibility, not to ba taken lightly. So for now, this is out of the question. too risky.

I'd work as anything right now. The problem with getting to the krioki night is transportation from Oshawa, which is virtually impossible, esp on sundays. Also, as I was saying, I am running out of time, so it's not very likely that ina couple of weeks I'm going to meet the love of my life and he asks me to marry him...
