PASSIVE זה פסיבי, כמו בעברית. מה שנקרא אצלנו בלשון פעול, כמו בינוני פעול למשל. לדוגמא : כתוב, מכור, שולם, ייחשב

אלא פעולות פסיביות דוגמא ל ACTIVE : קנה, עבד, אכל, כתב , מכר

אלא פעולות אקטיביות. אותו דבר באנגלית, רק שבאנגלית יש לך המון אופציות לפעולה פסיבית ופעלים רגילים בעתיד לפעולה אקטיבית.

כן אני מכיר את זה אבל זה קשה לזהות במשפט את זה , את הפועל הזה איך אני מבין במשפט שהוא פסיבי?!

לפועל אין צורה פסיבית, אבל פועל שמתפקד כפסיבי ילווה בדרך כלל, אם לא תמיד, במילה by. אני אתן לך לדוגמא שני משפטים: דני אכל עוגה. Danny ate the cake. זה היה משפט אקטיבי. העוגה נאכלה על ידי דני. The cake was eaten by Danny. משפט פסיבי. ברור מספיק?

אבל אני מתכוון למשפטים ממש מורכבים לא כאלה של רמה ג' את הבסיס אני יודע אבל היותר מורכבים זה המון דברים צריך לפענח וזה מה שרציתי לשאול..

ב-passive תמיד יהיה שימוש ב- be V3. דפדף טיפה אחורה, עניתי למישהו על זה לפני בערך יומיים. בכל מקרה, הרבה פעמים מהצירוף של שם העצם והפועל אפשר לדעת אם משהו הוא פעיל או סביל. גם בעברית זה ישמע מוזר להגיד משהו כמו "הספר כתב". הגיוני שזה יהיה "הספר נכתב".

טוב, ראשית, המקביל ל-PASSIVE בעברית הוא ה-סביל. פעיל: הילד אכל את התפוח. סביל: התפוח נאכל ע"י הילד. הנושא (הילד) הופך למושא, ואילו המושא (התפוח) הופך לנושא. נוסחת הסביל הכללית: BE + V3 .

Present Simple: am/is/are + V3 Active: Dan takes the bags. Passive: The bags are taken by Dan. Active: She doesn't pay the bills. Passive: The bills are not paid by her. Present Progressive: am/is/are + being + V3 Active: They are building a new house. Passive: New house is being built by them. Active: He isn't wearing the blue hat. Passive: The blue hat isn't being worn by him. Past Simple: was/were + V3 Active: He chose the right way. Passive: The right way was chosen by him. Active: She planned the trip. Passive: The trip was planned by her. Past Progressive: was/were + being + V3 Active: He was writing letters when the phone rang. Passive: Letters were being written by him when the phone rang. Active: She wasn't doing homework when I came in. Passive: Homework wasn't being done by her when I came in. Future Simple: will + be + V3 Active: He will buy the car. Passive: The car will be bought by him. Active: The pupils won't wear the uniforms. Passive: The uniforms won't be worn by the pupils. Future Past: would + be + V3 Active: He said that he would take the kids to school. Passive: He said that the kids would be taken to school. Active: She promised that she wouldn't arrange the party. Passive: She promised that the party wouldn't be arranged by her. Present Perfect: have/has + been + V3 Active: I have seen the movie you're talking about. Passive: The movie you're talking about has been seen by me. Active: She has done the homework already. Passive: The homework has been done by her. Past Perfect: had + been + V3 Active: After the teacher had marked the tests, she handed it in to the class. Passive: After the tests had been marked by the teacher, they were handed in to the class. Modals: modal + be + V3 Active: He mustn't paint the walls. Passive: The walls mustn't be painted by him.​
