first time to write in this forum. I guess no one would be interested but here is an online Pali English Dictionary . http://dsal.uchicago.edu/dictionaries/pali/ unlike other so called dictionaries on the web - this is a good one. Pali is a sister hybrid language for Sanskrit. it is used in Buddhist scriptures, so if you must know what 'dukkha' is or who was 'bhikkhu' you are in the right place! by the way, does any of you do proof-reading in English? I need help from time to time. bye, Asf

אני מניח שאבקר בקישור שציטטת. האם Pali, למיטב ידיעתך, דומה לסנסקריט? מילים כמו Maha (כמו ב-Mahayana, או Maharaja) יהיו גם בפאלי? ובאשר לשאלתך, אני חושב שכמה ממשתתפי הפורום שלנו עוסקים גם בהגהה ועריכה באנגלית. אם יתעורר הצורך - פרסם כאן הודעה, ואני מניח שיהיו תגובות. אני מניח שכוונתך להגהה/עריכה בתשלום, נכון? (אבל כרגע, אם זה לא רלוונטי, אתה לא חייב להגיב).

yes and yes

pali is similar and 'maharaja' and 'maha' and 'jara' are in both Pali and sanskrit. the grammer is different and some of the vocabulary. I will pay. of course.
