להלן כל החידושים וההמצאות של ה- NGE: 1) צמצום המקצועות מ- 38 ל-9 והפיכתם למקצועות איקוניים ( נאמר כי המעריצים רוצים להיות כמו דמויות מסויימות... מי אמר את זה אני לא יודע ). 9 המקצועות: Spy ( Based on Leia in Jabba's palace as the Ubsese armored bounty hunter ), Commando ( Based on Commander Cody ), Jedi ( Based on Luke Skywalker ), Trader ( based on Lando ), Smuggler ( Based on Han Solo ), Medic ( Based on a generic medical droid ), Entertainer ( Based on Oola ), Bounty hunter ( Based on Bobba Fett ),Officer ( Based on Leia ). מקצועות הטייס והפוליטיקאי ישארו ללא פגע. 2. Creature-Handlers ו Bio-Engineers הוצאו מהמשחק. 3. המשחק עבר לקצב יותר מהיר של משחק FPS לקונסולות ( לפי דעתי ). אלו מרבית השינויים החשובים... לצערי לאחר בדיקה של השינויים הללו אני חייב לציין שהם גרועים ואף היישום שלהם אינו טוב ואני בספק אם הם ריאליסטים לגבי עמידה בלוח הזמנים ( 15 בנובמבר ). למזלי אני עושה רולפליי ככה שאני אשאר למרות הכל...
