Karasim
It has been a while since my last report. I don't have a diversified fishing, so I don't think it is interesting to see the same type of report over and over again.
Anyhow, I saw that there are Boloniase winds blowing in the forum recently, so I thought I'd share my catch from yesterday (Sunday)
Sea conditions were very challenging: 1.5 M waves with very strong currents. As usual I was fisheing with my bolonaise rod.
As seen in the pics, the results are not too bad, both size and quantity wise.
The Karasim were not biting all the way in. When they are in such an eating mode, a key factor , is NOT to hook set once the floater goes down.
Instead, I reel back very slowly, like working with a circle hook, feel the fish via my finger on the line, and pull when I feel the moment is right.
The Karas standard size is " Kaf - Yad ", I learned from Rami (Isogame) that one size up is "Kaf - Regel ".
So, Rami, here is a pic for you. I caught quite a few of these recently.
Equipment:
5 M Bolonaise rod
Main Line: 0.20
Hooks # 8 with 0.18 line
Bait: Filuta, courtesey of Rami Isogame
Hag Sameach
