Just two questions

...and don't I know it

Irresistible Poison is everyone's first. I read it before chapter 15 was put up, so you can imagine my anguish at having to deal with a finale like chapter 14. I don't especially like Cassie Claire. The Draco Trilogy isn't that great a piece of fanfiction. I mean, 3 of the heirs are goddam Gryffindors. She has no use for Ron and Harry; she could make them jump off a cliff and nobody would really care because Hermione would be busy being Much Unlike Herself, Ginny would be busy being A Mary Sue, and Draco would be busy, I don't know, gathering a harem of half-veela. Aja, on the other hand, is a genius, as is Cinnamon. ::smiles sweetly:: What ship?

Oh my.

I... I found a person who has my taste. Fuck, this is fantastic. Wheeeeeeee! Cinnamon is officialy my god. My favorite of all times is her "Beneath you", and I was going to start praising it- wanted to see if you are one of those horrible horrible Ron/Hermione shippers. (No offencce, anyone.) Cinnamon is absolutly the best fiction writer, in my opinion. I used to like Tale As Old As Time by Ainakanoiel , You Again by hells, Serpant's bride by reiko naoe, Keeper's Secrets, Dragon's Rekindler, but can't remember them all to well, meaning they were not THAT amazing. Shipping- H/D. definitley. I have short spurts of fandomness- meaning, I dive into fandom and read read read for a certain amount of time, ditch it for a long while- then get back at full force. I slash, a lot. I do not like fluffiness, I slaughter any signs of Mary Sues. Last review I wrote was viciouse, and I am now abstaining from writing reviews- because sometimes it's not I that have the bitchiness- It's the bitchiness that has me. The only het ship I can endure is a Ginny/Draco one, and that is only if the fic is AMAZINGLY written, and I can over look the fact it is het. What else? oh, yes. I love dark!fics, hate good!draco, and, umm, prefer much smut. Right now I finished a fic that was quite badly written, but as i'm going through withdrawal, I must go get smut. Quick. Or i'll keep writing short sentances that don't flow. With lot's of periods. Like this. Must. Get. Smut. Now. Am on an awful addiction-spurt, going through drug-withdrawal sympotms. (one of which is the inability to spell) if you'll excuse me, I'll go swallow smut. NOW.

we all need our dose, eh?

This is quite shocking. I mean, it is not every day that you find advocates of the lemony ship at an Israeli English message board. My favorite of all time is actually Beautiful World (by Cinnamon). At first I wasn't that hooked on it, but when it started being wonderful I could do nothing but await the next installment eagerly. I recommend it to every Harry Potter fan I meet (and most look at me a bit strangely). Read it if you haven't. I haven't read all those other ones you mentioned. I've probably read every H/D fic at FictionAlley. Seriously. Fluffiness rocks, PWPs rock, but only with a good backstory, darkfics rock, angst rocks worse. I HATE Draco/Ginny. That ship deserves to die a horrible death. I mean, every week I see at least one Romeo and Juliet-turned-Draco and Virginia fic at AstronomyTower. It's unoriginal and there are always ridiculously perfect circumstances for a romance to blossom between them (believe me, I've seen everything from Lucius putting them together to Ginny working for Draco to Draco rethinking his ideals because of her vibrant red hair). I absolutely loathe that ship. H/H has a few good fics, but in each and every one of those fics the love is not passionate but platonic. See? Even the authors agree that they don't really belong together. Neville/Luna is absolutely adorable. Lucius/Bellatrix is one of my favorites. It's so dark and delectably dangerous. The sharp, red nails and pale skin kind of dangerous. Snape/Lily happened sometime. I'm sure of it. That's about it for het ships, I think. I never review. I'm too fucking lazy. A dirty little secret: I love PornIndustryBigshot!Harry and FauxLeatherPants!Draco. I don't even care if it's AU and completely OOC. I loathe Abusive!Harry. Harry is so gentle and boyish. Yesterday I read a fic in which Harry totally cheated on Ginny, then came home and beat her up. Meanwhile, she totally cheated on him with Draco, who urged her to leave Harry. One day she found out she was pregnant (with Draco's baby), killed Harry, and ran off with Draco. Understand why I hate D/G? Smut is.. er.. umm.. it depends on how graphic it is, really. Some things just cannot be read. Like all kinky Snape/Harry smut. Now, the big question: Do you write? I write. And I'm also a Ron/Hermione shipper, so sue me. Have you read Possession of Harry? Atrocious. Ron is so obviously straight.

meow.

I got a bit tired of FictionAlley, really. Darkfic and angst would definitely be yummy, I love them. Suicide fics are beautiful, especially when Draco is involved. Hmm, I'm confused. You like PWPs, but not smut? They are basically the same... Just that smut has a back-story to it, sometimes. I think you confused these two. Platonic H/Hr is ok by me, as long is it's platonic. Harry and Hermione, together... just no. Neville/Luna- never really tried any of these. Neville annoys me to the point of wanting to stick a nail through that balloon-head of his, and just make it blow up. I ran into few Lucius/Bellatrix fics, but none of them was amazing, or even remotely nice. Do you have anything to recommend? (It's het, but dark het. Maybe...) PornIndustryBigshot!Harry and FauxLeatherPants!Draco? Do tell! I have just recently read a ScaryOrcaInLeather!Dudly AmGayButInDenial!Harry and SluttyDrunkDiva!Draco that was quite hilarious at parts. "Yesterday I read a fic in which Harry totally cheated on Ginny, then came home and beat her up. Meanwhile, she totally cheated on him with Draco, who urged her to leave Harry. One day she found out she was pregnant (with Draco's baby), killed Harry, and ran off with Draco." That's disturbing. I will just shudder now. *Shudders in fear* that sounds... so.... nightmare material! Ginny/Harry? NO! If any, I prefer Ginny/Cho, or even Ginny/Hermione. Just.... not that obnoxious pairing. Ginny/Harry. Really. And, well, it depends. My liking to Harry is going through phases, you see- it's a love/hate kind of thing. Abusive!Harry is wrong. Very wrong. EasilyEmberessedBlushingShy!Harry, on the other hand, is very much acceptable. He is just so... dorky. I definitely see your D/G hatred, but some fics are just too funny for that. Try "You again" By hells. And don't even bother with the rest- they kind of suck. My taste went through a great great change throughout my years in the fandom; please ignore the awfully embarrassing list. Snape/Harry I don't really like. Up until very recently, I didn't like Snape/Anyone, to that matter. Right now, Snape/Black is acceptable. I do not like any Lupin/Harry Black/Harry MWPP/Youngster... It's just... awfully wrong. *Scrunches nose* Writing, well.... that's quite a difficult question, actually. I tend to slash everything. Meaning, I got to a level of actually writing a bible slash fic. *Lowers head in shame*. I do not write much, only when the story is writing itself- meaning, I just HAVE to put my hand on the keyboard and let it to its automatic writing. Or have those plot bunnies that insist on being written, but... well, inspiration does not strike. I usually just start something and never finish it. I do so in drawing and writing. Then, at some point, I go over it, scrunch my face in disgust, and re-write the whole thing. I write more Original fantasy than fanfiction. Ron is definitely straight. There is no other possible option, really. How could such an idiotic person be gay? (Do not take me seriously.) Oh, and I like songfics. Ummm, certain ones, that is. Not songfics like certain ones I read before. Not like "Skaterboy"/Cho. *Makes gagging sounds* (Random musing: Listening to German music written to a Japanese show is quite odd, really. But my, that music is so niiiice...)

You haven't read Snitch?!

That's where the notorious PornIndustryBigshot!Harry and FauxLeatherPants!Draco originated from. Well, actually, it was Cassie Claire who combined Draco and leather for the first time, but.. she doesn't count. I hate songfics. They're plotless. I don't have any Lucius/Bella recommendations, no. I've never read an L/B fic. I'm thinking of writing one, though. MWPP=THE PAST. NOT Harry/Hermione/Ginny's new love interests. On that note, I can't stand James/Lily fics. They always state the obvious, and that's so very boring. PWP is not smut. Smut is action, PWP is fluff. There's a subtle difference. Was that fic you read called Welcome to the Real World? Bible slash? There is much to write in that department, I believe. You know what's really disturbing? A good friend of mine wrote a Hamilton/Jefferson story (yeah, those two American politicians from 300 years ago). It included a "politics make me hard" line. Gah. Plotbunnies are so insistent. For instance, I have one humping my leg right now, begging me to write a car accident scene in which Seamus will die and H&D will get together. (I've written half a chapter fic, 2 cookies, an uncompleted one-shot, and one spinoff to date.) Any H/D recommendations would be much appreciated. Lamentably, I'm running out. :(

Who knows?

I don't remember more than half the stuff I read... MWPP=Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs. Aslo used when talking about their times, about all people form that pre-Harry age. PWP is not fluff as well. PWP stands fro "Plot? what plot?" and meant mainly for plotless heavy-on-the-lemon scenes. Smut is action indeed, sometimes accompanied by some back story. I think it is nowadays rated NC-17, usually, graphic stuff. I don't remember that fic's name (As I am awfully senile and happen to pet snail absent-mindedly), But it was located in a site called "Lasair and Maya's fanfiction and ramblings". Ther is, indeed much to write on the bible-slash department, but it still is quite odd. Besides, I used some anonymous characters, umm, kind of. Yes, plot bunnies ARE, indeed awfully insistant. The problem is when they exist- but inspiration refuses to strike. That prissy bitch. I will have to think of some outstanding fics ang get back to you about that one... hmmm, I used to have an Oliver slashing-phase, maybe i'll go look for some more fics of that extinct species. you interested?

oh dear...

Oliver is straight. Oliver is the heartthrob that Harry isn't. Oliver cannot be gay because, well, his first love is Quidditch anyway. I object! PWP is not necessarily smut. I write PWP and I don't write smut. Ha! So there.

His first love is for his broom,

really. And as an author once made Draco say "We are surrounded by phallic symbols! no wonder we are all gay!!!". Come on, he spends half his life polishing his broom! Oliver is gaygaygaygaaaaaaaaaay..... and I wish I could find a Drac/Oliver fic, really. Hmmm, well- "For the record, 'PWP' means 'Plot? What Plot?' and denotes a story that is mostly smut for smut's sake" "PWP: Means Plot? What Plot? Usually for stories where it's just sex. " " Best Crossover PWP All of these fics should be NC17 and have relatively little plot - after all, that is what PWP means" "Q: What does CWC and PWP mean? A: CWC stands for 'Curse, What Curse?' and PWP means either 'Plot, What Plot?' or 'Porn Without Plot'" "PWP---Means Plot? What plot? We just wanna screw each other! A plotless lemon in other words. Just for fun ^_^ " Are just a few of the first explinations found when searching google for "PWP means". Are you familiar with all those terms? there are terms such as yaoi and shonen-ai, or seme and uke- driven from japanese but used by all. =)

In my world..

PWP means "Plot? What plot?" but in the fluffy sense of the word. Like, "this fic centers mostly around amorous adventures in the Astronomy Tower"- but it doesn't have to be smut. Or "this fic centers around the getting-together of Harry and Draco without much of a story", and that would be a PWP as well. I don't know any Japanese terms. I'm only into the Harry Potter fandom.

But you must expand!

Japanese terms are used widely over all slash fiction..... hmm, I'll find you a small-slash-fandom-dictionary. =)

Am at chapter 3, atm,

And I must say- Snitch! is not that good. I do recall one "Snitch" story, that was a Percy/Oliver one, if I remember correctly. However, this "Snitch" is not that good. Does it get better after these chapters? Don't know, it's just not really appealing, in my opinion. I guess i'll keep reading, and see if I like the rest. =/

Hey you two HP mad-people

Bloody hell but you're seriously weird... (no offence, I hope) I mean, I know I like childrens books and I'm kind of easily shockable soI don't read much slash (or sex as a rule). Is it normal for everyone to be gay? If the parents (RSJP? you know, James+Sirius+Remus etc.) were gay, specifically James and/or Lily, how exactly did Harry come about? The stork brought him? I know I'm boring but I like cute stuff (I've almost only read from the sugar quill)... like It's a dog's life (I think) about Sirius going to a vet. I think I had a real point coming up but I've quite forgotten it. Oh well... (shrugs)

כשאני אצליח להפסיק לצחוק

אני כנראה אודיע לספרייה העירונית להעביר את כל ספרי הסדרה שטופי הזימה למדור למבוגרים בלבד.... אדיר
