6 items added today: AHVAK - AHVAK Latest addition to the Israeli Prog discography by the first Israeli RIO band Ahvak from 2003. During his recent stay in the country Dave Kerman (5uu`s, etc.) gathered around him some of Israel`s most advanturous players and this is the result of their cooperation. Worldwide reception of this album was enthusiastic and critics and fans alike see it as a prime example of excellence in the genre. It smokes! CORYELL, LARRY - THE ELEVENTH HOUSE AT MONTREUX Recorded live at the 1974 Montreux Jazz Festival, this album captures Coryell and his Fusion band at their best. Dynamic, fiery and inspired, they fly through the set with vigor and instrumetal brilliance. Coryell`s blistering guitar and Lawrence`s high pitched trumpet soar above the solid and supportive rhythm section with Mouzon in lead. Not to be missed! NUCLEUS - LIVE IN BREMEN Recorded live in 1971 for radio Bremen, this double album presents Nucleus second line-up, which features some of the best UK Jazz/Rock players at the time (4 of them played with various Soft Machine incarnations - Jenkins, Smith, Babbington and Marshall). With the brilliant guitar work by Ray Russell, this is somewhat similar to `Bitches Brew`, but of course recorded before Miles. A prime example of Fusion at its best! NUCLEUS - SOLAR PLEXUS/BELLADONNA 3rd and 4th albums from 1971/1972 by this groundbreaking UK Jazz/Rock group, which included some of the best Fusion players of all times. `Solar Plexus` is more Jazz rooted, with brilliant contributions from trumpetter Kenny Wheeler and guitar by Chris Spedding. `Belladonna` is more Fusion oriented, with some blistering guitar from Alan Holdsworth and inspired piano work by Gordon Beck. Absolute must! NUCLEUS - IN FLAGRANTE DELICTO 10th album from 1977 and the first live album the band recorded. Just four extended tracks, which showcase all the players and clearly proove how brilliant the group was, live as well as in the studio. Although there is no guitar player present, this is still a great example of what proper Fusion sounds, when performed by the best musicians of the genre. NUCLEUS - OUT OF THE LONG DARK/OLD HEARTLAND 11th album from 1978 and Ian Carr`s solo project from 1988. `Out Of The Long Dark` was recorded by a quintet (smallest) version of Nucleus and was to be the one before last album by the group. `Old Heartland` was a solo project by Carr leading a sextet and a String Orchestra and demonstrates Carr`s abilities as a gifted and versatile composer, in addition to his instrumental skills and his leadership of the Jazz/Rock Fusion genre. Breathtakingly beautiful music. ============================== Many items back in stock!!! ============================== Have Fun! Jazzis Web Shop https://www.jazzis.com/shop/
