Two of my favorite

Since I am currently unable to attend school, I have been watching an awful lot of my favorite old movies, miniseries, and various TV shows on the Internet.

If you like British period drama, I can recommend "The Ginger Tree" - I love the book as well as the Masterpiece miniseries:

שירות לקוחות ובעצם כול מקום

המקצוע שלי והנסיון מישראל לא מוכרים פה.
אני מחפשת בכיוון שירות לקוחות בסביבה משרדית,פקידת קבלה- עבודות שהן לא מקצועיות אבל אני חושבת שכך אולי אוכל להשתלב יותר בקלות פה....
תוך כדי אני מוציאה כלבים ומידי פעם עושה בייביסיטר (על כלבים, לא ילדים)
בנתיים הישועה לא הגיעה אבל מתישהו.... אולי.

You have mentioned that you live downtown. There is a centre downtown that can help you:

In midtown Toronto, you can go to the Career Foundation at 21 St. Clair Ave. East. There is another good employment centre up the road on Eglinton Avenue, but it is currently closed due to renovation.

Why can't you work in your field? Customer service does not pay much. You could apply to work as a teller in a bank. All you need is a degree. Many of the bank tellers are newcomers. It's stable work ,and you get promoted after 6 months. Banks offer many advancement opportunities, especially for women.

הייתי שם ועשיתי את זה

וכן, גם הגשתי כטלרית בבנק ועוד מקומות רבים אחרים שלא רשמתי בפוסט הקודם. אני עובדת צמוד לרכזת תעסוקה מהמקומות שהזכרת והאמת היא שהם ממש נתנו לי מידע מועיל בכול הנוגע לכתיבת קורות חיים והתקשרות עם מקומות עבודה אך- טרם חזרו אלי מכול הקורות חיים ששלחתי, היו כמה שגם נמסרו ידנית וגם הם לא נענו.
אני עבדתי בישראל במערכת הבריאות, באחד מהמקצועות שזקוק לPR כדיי לעסוק בו וכרגע יש לי רק אישור עבודה כך גם שהנסיון לא ממש משחק תפקיד ואני חושבת שהוא אולי אפילו בעוכרי.
