("Shall We Dance" and "An Unfinished Life")... קודם הסרט הנרקוד נדחה ל 15 באוקטובר במקום ה6 באוגוסט והסיבה העיקרית היא שהמבקרים אמרו שג'ן מופיעה רק 30 דקות אחרי תחילת הסרט וב30 דקות האלו זה רק על החיים של ריצ'ארד וזה משעמם... אז ג'ן תופיע הרבה לפני... והסרט השני... ייצא מתישהו בדצמבר. והכתבה המלאה: Jennifer stars in the Miramax releases "Shall We Dance" (with Richard Gere) and "An Unfinished Life" (with Robert Redford) due out later this year. But both movies are being re-tooled after test audiences in the Midwest saw them and, as our sources put it, "reacted badly." One production insider says: "Audiences were not into either of the movies. "A lot of Jennifer's scenes for 'An Unfinished Life' are ending up on the cutting room floor - she just wasn't up to par, or at least up to Robert Redford's level. As for 'Shall We Dance,' the test screenings went badly. Really badly," said the insider. "Because of the bad screeners, 'Shall We Dance,' which was supposed to premiere Aug. 6, has been moved back to Oct. 15. And 'An Unfinished Life' is having a limited release in December." But another, more sympathetic Lopez insider insisted: "The only reason 'Shall We Dance' screened poorly is because Jennifer doesn't even appear in the movie until 30 minutes in. Her first big dance scene is 45 minutes into the film. "In the beginning, it is dreary as they try to set up the plotline about Richard Gere leading a boring dull life with boring dull Susan Sarandon. It's boring! The editing will make it so that Jennifer comes onto the screen much, much earlier." Naturally, a rep for Miramax insists both pictures are just fine. "The screenings for both of the movies in Omaha and Kansas City were through the roof," said Matthew Hiltzik. " 'Shall We Dance' was moved because now it has a shot at being considered for the Golden Globes."
