Well, I came here "to live", and

found myself making much more money then I thought possible... BUT you have to be independent, naturally Otherwise, the employer makes the money, and you thank him for making survival possible for yourself

many people would easily find my identity through it, so I prefer not to reveal this information. Quite many people in Toronto know me. Let me just say that though I did not operate my business with the drive to become rich, but to enjoy my life, and make decent living. In the process, I found myself becoming more successful then I thought possible… and yes, I am not alone. I know few Israelis here who became relatively rich, and their story is quite similar to mine in essence. “Relatively” rich in my view is a person who started with next to nothing, and reached net worth of more then two million dollars. There are dozens of Israelis here who made it this way. True though, not by working for somebody else .

town, but there are some "charachters" here "like mr. Kor , for example, which make your question answered right away for you This guy, and another posted under "TIZ" were posting misleading information, and since I corrected them, they turn ugly. A childish behavior,unfortunately.Perhaps they are consumed by inferiority complex, which make them want to "compensate" for it by attacking others

מה זה משכורת נמוכה בקנדה? 2000$? מה ניתן לעשות מזה? כמה אוכל, מיסים, משכנתא, רכב וכו' וכו' באותה מידה ניתן לפרט הוצאות בישראל.

אם אתה בונה על מעסיק קנדי שייתן לך חסות, אני מעריך שהסיכוי קלוש, במצב השוק הנוכחי, כמו גם למצוא עבודה מהארץ. יש אלפי מובטלי היי-טק מקומיים, גם כאלה שחזרו מארה"ב (המשכורות מדרום לגבול גבוהות יותר). אם עוד לא התחלת את התהליך, אז אין לך מה להפסיד (חוץ מקצת כסף). תוכל לדחות את ההחלטה אם לעבור לקנדה עד סיום התהליך, שהבנתי שכיום לוקח לפחות שנה. אגב, לקנדה (לפחות באיזור טורונטו, אולי ונקובר שונה), לא יצא שם של אורח חיים רגוע, של עבודה מ-9 עד 5, אחריה המבול, ללא סופי שבוע, כמו לאוסטרליה, למשל. כאמור, הכל תלוי באיזה שלב אתה נמצא ואם החלטת המעבר בכלל רלוונטית כרגע.

לא תארתי לעצמי שתהיה כזאת

התנפלות על דברי (לטובה ולרעה...) אז הנה כמה מילים על עצמי: אני עובד בתכנות מחשבים עם נסיון של 8 שנים בתחומים נדרשים ונדרשים פחות. המשכורת שלי היום עם כל התוספות (מעוגלת) היא בסביבות ה - 4000us$.. (תורידו מס, חברה !!) ההתעניינות שלי בקנדה היא מפני שהחברה שלי בקשיים וזה הזמן מבחינתי לעשות שינוי אם אני מעוניין. בקשר לקנדה אני שוקל 2 אפשרויות: א) למצוא מעסיק מהארץ בלבד שידאג לאישור עבודה. ב) להרשם לאונ' ללימודי תואר שלישי במחשבים. עכשיו הכל ברור למה אני מתעניין, לא ?

Finiding job in remote

Be ready for a disappointment . I tried to find a job in Vancouver two years ago ( with 10 years hi tec experience ), hoping to use the special IT visa project . I have contacted several recruiters and got several answers saying Canadian employers do not want to hire people who do not have work permit already. In this was 2 years ago !!! ( As a result we have decided to apply for Canadian PR visa ) Following is a quote from one of the e-mail I got: "we will keep your resume on file and when a position becomes available we will inform you. Your qualifications are certainly in demand, however, there are many others that are looking here in Vancouver and the majority of our clients will give the BC residence the first chance before looking to hire from outside Canada." Well, you are right

My family name is not Bar Cochva but it is not British Columbia either. Never the less you are right. We live in the US and work with a temporary working visa for an Israeli HiTec company. We started applying for Canadian visa before coming here and still prefer Canada better.
