lawyer - waste of money!!!
You don't need a lawyer! It is so easy at the embassy in Israel. I did it by myself and got the visa papers after 6 months. HOWEVER: there are few matters to consider: 1. when did you begin the visa procedures (they changed the laws)? 2. What is your background and what type of papers did you give? If you give them good enough papers that show that you have good english... they skip the interview. All the lawyer does is to collect all the papers together - you can do the same!!!
