A: When the Natzis ((עלו לשלטון everybody think that nothing bad will happen, nobody know the tragedy that will happen to the jews. Q: When you first know that the Natzis looking for the Jews and you are in big danger ? A: We first know that the Natzis looking for the Jews when we hear rumors that Jews been taken to מחנות עבודה, in the beginning we dont beleve but ככל שעברו הימים השמועות גברו and then we star to afraid. Q: Tell me about one event that you specially remember... A: The evet that i remember is that one morning 3 soldiers knock on our door and they looking for my father, when they find him they took him... and from this moment i never saw my father again. Q: Finally... How you sourvie the holocaust ?? A: בזמן המלחמה אני נדדתי ברחבי אירופה לפעמים הסתתרתי אצל משפחות נוצריות שעזרו לי וכאשר גילו שאני יהודייה ברחתי משם והמשכתי לנדוד עד לסופה של של המלחמה

Interview with my Friend's Grandmother Q: How old were you during the Second World War? A: I was 19 years old, it was (just) after I['d] finished school. Q: In what country were you during the Second World War? A: I was [living] in Apocheno, Poland when the Germans invaded Poland in 1939. My father was a rich man and they (מי?) promised him that if he paid money, nothing bad would happen to us. Q: What did you do in your private life during the war? A: During the war I studied medicine. I wanted to be doctor, it was my dream, but I never finished my studies because of this war. מה זאת אומרת? היא לא התחבאה וכל זה? איפה רפואה? מה? Q: When the Nazis came to power, how did you feel? A: When the Nazis came to power, everybody thought that nothing bad would happen; nobody predicted the tragedy that would happen to the Jews. Q: When did you first realize that the Nazis were looking for Jews and that you were in danger? A: We first knew that the Nazis were looking for Jews when we heard rumors that Jews were being taken to labor camps. At first we didn't believe them, but as time passed, the rumors spread, and that was when we began to be afraid. Q: Tell me about one event that you especially remember... A: The event that I remember is that one morning, 3 soldiers knocked on our door and searched for my father. When they found him, they took him... And from that moment on, I never saw my father again. Q: Finally... How did you survive the Holocaust? A: During the war, I wandered throughout Europe. Sometimes I hid with Christian families, then ran away when they found out I was Jewish.
