The 23-year-old executive produced the soundtrack to 'Save the Last Dance 2,' featuring new music from Rihanna, Mya and T-Pain, and he was also approached by representatives for another pop star readying her comeback. "I've got a midtempo song that might go to Britney Spears," he told AOL Music. "We didn't really get to work like we were supposed to because of the paparazzi. As soon as she hopped out the limo [for the recording session], she got bombarded by guys taking pictures. So she got back in the limo and drove off." It'll take more than a few tabloids to stop Ne-Yo's grind, though. The singer recently produced tracks for Enrique Iglesias and has already started brainstorming ideas for his own sophomore release, due in '07. "This isn't work to me, you know what I mean? I'm basically the kid that gets paid to play with video games all day. That's me," he said. Glad to hear it. That whole "exhaustion" thing with celebrities was getting kinda tired.
