חברים בוקר טוב,
המשפט הבא לקוח מסיפור שנכתב באנגלית על סוחר שחי בניו יורק בשנות השלושים של המאה הקודמת. לרוע מזלו נשדדה חנותו של הסוחר והוא התרושש לחלוטין. אשמח אם תחוו את דעתכם על המשפט שכאמור נכתב באנגלית במקור:

As you said earlier, before being robbed, your uncle – David - had been a well-off merchant. As a result of the robbery, David had lost
much of his wealth and could fit his merchandise on a single shelf.
