most teenagers don't know it's a topic that really interests us. We put together a small Questionnaire combined with 9 questions, With their help, we hoped to find out if our assumption is verified or refuted. We entered the "Tapuz" web page on the internet (http://www.tapuz.co.il) to the forums "The Tribe" and "Evanescence", in which we’re are active members, and asked the people (ages – 12 – 18) to answer our Questionnaire. Contrary to our concerns, we got a lot of feedbacks which amounted to 25 responses. After we had all the answers, we organized them in one page, made the diagram and wrote the project’s summery. We found out that most teenagers know about institutionalized Abuse on animals Therefore - our assumption was refuted. We were happy to find out that the topic interests most teenagers. When asked "Do you have a pet?", the questioned answered - “I wish…" "I want one, but I can't…", or when asked – "Do you eat meat?", they stated – "I'm trying not to…" "I wish I could stop…" . On other questions, like "Do you know about any association that works for animal's rights?" 90% of the questioned said yes, but when they were asked if they volunteer in any of them, they said they don’t have no association branch in their town, that they have no time, or just said "no". A very small percentage of them said they volunteer. About their opinions, they had a one clear answer – 99% opposed to testing products on animals in the cosmetic field and 1% doesn't care. However, a part of the one who oppose to testing products on animals in the cosmetic field, are, in fact, using those products which were tested on animals. To the question – "What is your opinion about conducting experiments on animals for medications research?" there answers were almost divided equally - 12 said they are supportive, and 11 said they are opposed, and the other 2 said they don’t care. We conclude, that opposed to our assumption – most of the teenagers do know about institutionalized Abuse on animals, opposed to some of it, and sometimes even do something about it. We learned that most of the teenagers have pets, and most of them really care about animals.
