childrens song: "Ring around the rosie,a pocket full of posie, ashes, ashes, we all fall down" for any english speaker, this song is nostalgic.kind of like "Uga Uga Uga," everyone holds hands and the circle spins, and at the words "...we all fall down" everyone falls to the ground ah. kindergarden. ! ! ! WHAT MOST PEOPLE DONT KNOW, IS THE MEANING OF THIS SONG: back in the late 1700's, i think, there was a terrible plague killing thousands in america. Ring around the rosie: rosmerie beads, used by quite a few religions to pray with,is what "Rosie" means a pocket full of posie: posie's, a flower which mothers believed would keep the plague away (obviously advanced medicine wasn't practiced much back in the day...) ashes ashes we all fall down- well, i guess you can guess what that means oh, and in case you thoght i don't have a few more under my sleeve: Three blind mice," Three blind mice See how they run, See how they run! They all ran after The farmer's wife She cut off their tails With a carving knife Did you ever see Such a sight in your life As three blind mice? acordind to an article i read, this song has to do with henry th VIII wife, who was killed by her husband, which also, is where "Bloody Mary" comes from. look it up. before i leave, look up the songs "Humpdy Dumpdy", and, my all time favorite, "Rock a by Baby" weird, huh?
