רוכבים בלי אוכף, בדרך כלל כי הם פשוט קטנים מידי כדי להגיע עם הרגליים... המונגולים רוכבים עם אוכף מונגוליה שעשוי מעץ, ולתיירים יש "אוכף רוסי" מרופד. לא הכי נוח אבל מתרגלים, ובטח יותר נוח מאוכף מעץ
