אנשים אינם שונים רק בגלל שהם גרים במקומות שונים, בארצות שונות, ביבשות שונות. אדם מורכב מאינספור מאפיינים, שיכולים להבדיל אותו מהשני, ולכן אין שני אנשים זהים, מבחינה מנטלית. אך מבחינת היותינו שווים, והיותינו בני אדם - המיקום הגיאוגרפי הוא לא זה שיוצר דופי בין אדם למשניהו. פטריוטיזם מתקשר להיסטוריה משותפת, נחלה משותפת, תרבות משותפת, של עם אחד, על גבי שטח קבוע. ולאו דווקא זה מה שיוצר אנשים זהים, או שונים. זה מה שמאחד אותם יחדיו. יש לזכור שכולנו אינדיבידואלים. אבל אני יכול להיות יותר 'שונה' מאדם שמתגורר בישראל, מאשר מאדם שגר במולדוביה.

רק שבט יהודה נקראו יהודים באותה תקופה, הם דיברו עברית וארמית, ודתם נקראה דת ישראל (השם השתנה ליהודית מאוחר יותר, כאשר שאר השבטים הוגלו), אך גם הם היו מתבוללים גדולים ולקחו נשים מכל הגויים שמסביבם, גם הגרים (כאשר דת ישראל שינתה שם ליהדות) נקראו יהודים וגם הכוזרים שהתגיירו 1000 שנים מאוחר יותר

לא רק שבט יהודה נקרא יהודים...אחרי שממלכת ישראל התחלקה לשניים היתה ממלכת יישראל (10 שבטים) וממלכת יהודיה (2 שבטים)....מללכת ישראל הוגלתה ולא יודעים מי הם הצאצאים ממלכה זאת אפילו שיש כאלה שטוענים שהם צאצאים מהממלכה הזאת. חלק ממלכת ישראל ברחו לממלכת יהודה (למשל בני שבט לוי) ואז היתה עוד גלות (שכחתי איך קוראים לה)...היהודים הם השבטים הספציפיים בשבט יהודה שהוגלו ושמרו על הדת והלאום שלהם והיתה להם זיקה מיוחדת לארץ.. טוב זה ויכוח היסטורי ביי

Religion and nationality

The state of Israel used to write NATIONALITY: JEWISH in the ID's so it'll be easier to see who's a Jew and who's not. Pure racism. Now they don't do it anymore. So according to that, Judaism USED to be a nationality, and now it's not anymore. If it helps - in any other country in the world your NATIONALITY is being determined by which CITIZENSHIP you hold - if you hold Israeli citizenship then your nationality is Israeli - if you hold tibetan citizenship - your nationality is tibetan... So you have what the state of Israel thought and you have what the rest of the world thinks. And I personally think that it's a personal thing and that you can decide for yourself if you see your nationality as Jewish or Israeli, and whatever you think - you won't give a shit about what the state of Israel or the US say - you are whatever you think you are... And the question is... when you're outta Israel, with whom do you feel that you have more in common with - (lets say that you live in the US) - with Jewish Americans (including JAP's and Ultra-Orthodox from Brooklyn), or with Israelis (including Arsim, frechot and frikim)? What's more important to you - Hebrew or Judaism? And my question made me think that maybe my nationality isn't Jewish nor Israeli... hehehhe​

So according to your way of thinking, you don't belong here and aren't supposed to write here, coz you're not נוער בחו``ל, right? But the world ain't black and white, and especially on the net... The net is an open place and no one check for ID's when you come... it means that even a Buddhist monk from Thailand can come to this forum. Maybe he'll feel like he doesn't really belong (like you would) but he can. So Israelis that left Israel CAN write in Israeli forums, and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it, just like you can come to a forum of נוער בחו``ל even if you're an Isreali patriot that never even been out of Israel, and no one can do a damn thing about it!! But if you do so, don't think that you will see everyone missing Israel, all patriotic and all - cause not all Israelis are alike and when you move to another country you way of thinking might change.
