המאמר קצת באנגלית כי אני ההרצאה היא חלק מקורס אנגלית Subject: “New age science” Before I start with my presentation I would like to tell you a short story; about 3 thousand years ago, in some distant country some one made a great discovery. He thought that he has found the way to explain our existents. He has establish a secret cult based on his discovery. This story took place at 287 bs in Greece, the name of this person was Archimedes and he discovered what we call today integral. Today I wish to talk to you about something that I call “New Age science”. New age science includes a huge amount of subjects which sometimes have only one thing in common there are not a considered as science. For example like Cheiromantia, Tarot, Astrology, Numerology, Mediations or and even sorcery and witchcraft. Now let me ask you a question: If you don’t believe in Astrology please raze your hand. Why don’t you believe in it? Well the common answer for disbelieving in Astrology is “How can it be that there gonna be the same fate for all people who were born at the same day or month” well let me tell you something you absolutely right, it can’t be. Real astrology is not the one you see in papers every morning. In order to do it right the true astrologist needs to consider many factors like day and hour of your birth, he has to build a map of the skies in and see what was the position of every star at that moment. The foretelling is a minor part of astrology. It’s also possible to find out who you are and what’s your potential. The same thing is true for Cheiromantia, Tarot, Numerology and others of their kind. How do they know it, you may ask. Well the answer is simple: observation (like basic physics). For ages people have been examining things that surrounded them and learning their meaning. The whole field of Cheiromantensy was founded by Lois Hamon in the beginning of the century after years of research. In Far East and in South America people were using Astrology long before they saw fist European ship. And the Alchemy laid the basics of today’s Chemistry. Physics was based by Philosophers, which were observing nature and were trying to explain what they saw by experiments. In similar way “New age sciences” require an open mind, spiritual and philosophical way of thinking (approach) in order to understand it. While our society obsessed with strictly physical qualities. It’s very hard to us, to overlook the things we think we know and to try to find some new meaning to common things, Since the beginning of the last century the “new age” movement is growing bigger and bigger but it became extremely commercial and looks like all those “new age” fans want is your money. Some do, but they are minority. Today its possible to find almost any information you need about almost any subject ether in books or the internet. Our society started to except “new age” and people begun to learn it’s sciences more and more. Who knows, may be in few hundred years we will look at sorcery in the way we look at math today.
