I knew Michigan was hit pretty badly by the crisis & doesn't seem to recover, and Detroit in particular but hadn't realized it was this bad If its true- and if D collapses completely- how will it affect the rest of the country?...​

זה (Climate Change) הוא המינוח הרשמי בחקיקה של האיחוד האירופי. כבר מזה שנים.

לציבור הבריטי שמכיר יותר קיץ קר מקיץ חם (וכמוהו גם הציבור האירופאי). שינוי אקלים זה הרבה יותר קל למכור כי לא צריך לתת לו הגדרות חד ערכיות.

(is the english way'...) - not me- thats Roger Waters but he sure knew what he was talking about although its also part of the british character- to moan and dream of remote places- forever romantics... (rarely self- indulgent) reminds me that when i got here, one of customs' officers shouted after me 'welcome to the colonies' with a sort of apologetic air of 'we aint all that smart here, but overall we're having a good time' he was so right btw

i have to admit that had i the option to stay in the US forever id grab it without hesitation, but england isnt all that bad, and you have the rest of europe so close, whenever you want to escape​

To name a few risks

1. מעבר לערך הקנייה, קניית בית הוא כרוכה בהוצאות רבות נוספות (אחזקה, מיסים). כך שגם אם בתים נמכרים בדולר (וגם זה קיים), אם יש לך שטר של 100 דולר זה לא אומר שאת יכולה להרשות לעצמך לקנות 100 בתים (כי לא תוכלי להרשות לעצמך את המיסים וההוצאות הנוספות). כלומר אם מסתכלים על עלות אחזקה כוללת, עלות קניית הבית נראית פחות כמו מציאה. 2. ממש לא בטוח שהשוק שם יתאושש. אמריקה מספיק גדולה ומלאה במקומות שמעולם לא התאוששו - אנשים פשוט עברו הלאה והמשיכו למקום אחר, והשאירו מאחוריהם ghost towns. במקרה של דטרויט לא ברור לי למה לא סגרו את העיר הזאת לגמרי כבר ב-1990.

1. Obviously- but with such low prices your overall expenses are also low, they are usually a percentage of the cost, but with a low risk deal you can also use a standard legal document, don't need a negotiator or real estate professionals. anyway- i was just playing, im not buying anything here but just to keep playing- if i were ever to buy a house (for myself/family etc.) in the US, it would, without a doubt, be somewhere between SF to SD with a strong preference for LA (Malibu/venice/santa monica/bev. hills etc- .) other places along the coast ok too (Monterey

) never anywhere that gets colder than London...​
