בקשה מוזרה קצת

לצורך הסברה מול האנטישמיות בפורומים באנגלית ברחבי העולם, אם מישהו יכול לתרגם את הסיפור הבא לאנגלית אודה לו מאד. טיסה ללונדון אישה לבנה בגיל 50 ישבה ליד גבר שחור והמצב הזה כנראה הפריע לה. וקראה לדיילת. "גבירתי"? מה הבעיה שאלה הדיילת. את כנראה לא רואה ענתה האישה את הושבת אותי ליד גבר שחור ואני לא מסכימה לשבת ליד אנשים כאלה. תני לי מקום אחר! "תירגעי" אמרה הדיילת כמעט כל המושבים בטיסה תפוסים אבל אלך לבדוק אם ניתן למצוא מושב פנוי. לאחר מספר דקות חזרה הדיילת. גבירתי, כמו שחשבתי, אין מקומות פנויים במח' תיירים. דברתי עם הקפטן והוא אמר שגם במח' העסקים אין מקומות פנויים המקום היחיד שנשאר הוא במח' ראשונה. לפני שהגב' הצליחה לומר מילה המשיכה הדיילת: בחב' שלנו, לא רגיל שמישהו יעבור ממח' תירים למח' ראשונה, בכל אופן, בגלל המצב שנוצר, הקפטן מרגיש שזה ממש סקנדל להושיב מישהו על יד אדם כל כך מגעיל..והיא פנתה לגבר השחור ואמרה: לכן, אדוני, אבקשך לקחת את חפציך ותעבור בבקשה למחלקה הראשונה. ברגע זה כל הנוסעים שהיו בשוק נעמדו על הרגלים ומחאו כפיים. זה סיפור אמיתי. אם גם אתם נגד אפליה שילחו מסר זה לחברים שלכם תודה

On a flight to London, a Caucasian [white] middle aged woman sat next to a black man on a plane, and that must have bothered her, so she called the stewardess: "Madam?" "What seems to be the problem?", asked the stewardess. "You probably didn't notice you sat me down next to a black man, and I don't appreciate sitting next to these kind of people. Find me some other place else to sit!" "Calm down", answered the stewardess, "almost all the sits on this flight are taken, but I'll check to see if I can find an empty sit." A few minutes later the stewardess returned, and told the lady: "Madam, as I though, there are no available sits in coach department, the only sits left are in first-class department. Before the lady could even say a word, the stewardess continued saying: "In our company, it's highly unusual to transfer a passenger from coach dept. [abbreviation] to first-class. However, because of this rare condition, the captain feels it's quite a scandal to sit a passenger next to someone so disgusting...". Then she turned to the black man and told him: "Therefore sir, I ask you to take your belongings and move to first-class please. At that moment, all the other shocked passengers stood up and clapped there hands. This is a true story. If you too are against discrimination, forward this message to your friends.​
