Yosi, I suggest that you check out the number for a furnished apartment that I posted here for bagio1. You could rent a furnihed apartment for one month and then decide where to rent long term. It's a great and convenient location at St. Clair & Bathurst next to the subway and a very big supermarket with a large section of Jewish & Israeli kosher food products. Many Orthodox Jews shop at this Loblaws supermarket. Just around the corner south of St. Clair at 1415 Bathurst Street, there is a very good HRDC Centre where you can get lots of help with your resume and use the Internet, fax machines and telephones free of charge. They also have a lot of reference material to help you with your job search. In addition, just south of the HRDC Centre, there is a Chabad Centre where you can get information regarding the Orthodox Jewish community. Although there is no regular big synagogue in the area, I am sure that Chabad must have a room that they use for praying. estee
