Where can I improve my grammar?

Hello, I'm 18 years old. In the army I will probably have some time to improve my English. It's very important for my future carrier, and I think that an intelligent man in the modern world must have good English skills. As you probably already notice , my English is far from perfect. My main worries is my grammar skills, I just translate sentences from Hebrew, I don't know: present simple, future perfect and all this kind of time expressions. How can I improve my grammar skills , is there some site on the Internet that can help me? My whole life , I didn't use teachers for studying , and I believe that if I find the materials I will significantly improve my English.

But they are very expensive :{

I find a site that helps me (http://www.englishpage.com). I can find the basics tenses there. Of course it will not make my English perfect, but step by step, I will make some progress. If anybody have sites like the one I show , or a phone number of Australian/British/American/South African girl that lives in Israel ( , please send them to me.
