What is the diffrence between..

"i saw.." and "I've seen" For instance - I _____ at the mall yesterday.... And another one.. "I thought about it" and "I've been thinking about it"?

You use past simple when you have a specific time declaration, and present perfect when you don't. I saw the mall yesterday. I've seen that mall already. I thought about it, and now I don't. I've been thinking about it, and I still do. Hope I got it all right.​
