by reading this: http://www.geocities.com/mmemym/ Stephen Fry is a very well-known British comedian and actor. you have probably seen him in one place or another (for example, he was the voice of The Guide in the Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy film) Hugh Laurie did Blackadder and a lot of other things before playing the main role on House. In the Eighties they has a sketch TV show called A Bit of Fry and Laurie. These are some of the scripts. Not as funny as seeing the shows, of course, but still quite a good read, and very good for people who like the vagaries of the english language. Enjoy!
