Transfer student

I'm an israei student in New York. I'm transfering next semester to a Brown University. I know that I will get a new I-20 and that means that I will need to change the name of the university on my student visa. Does anybody know if I need to go back to Israel to change it or I can do it in the "konsulia" in NYC. Thanks.

My husband transfered

From one U tho another and the changes were in the I-20, not in the visa that was in his passport. I recommend that you consult with the ISO (international students office) at Brown U. It looks like the best place to ask this kind of question.​
