הרגע גיליתי, לחרדתי - שעוד 3 חודשים (בדיוק!) ייפקע תוקף הResidence Permit שלי, שהוצאתי אחרי החתונה. ואם זה לא גרוע מספיק, תוקף אשרת העבודה שאיתה הגעתי לאי הקפוא תפוג שבועיים לפני זה. ממה שהבנתי, אני צריכה להזיז את ה (_0_) שלי, ללמוד למבחן, לעבור אותו ואז למהר ולהגיש את SET(M) על מנת לקבל INDEFINITE LEAVE TO REMAIN אשמח לאישורים על הבנתי (עוד יותר אשמח לפתרון עם לוח זמנים גמיש יותר, אבל זה כבר באמת wishful thinking. ראבאק)

אבל זה אומר חידוש אשרת השהייה כל שנתיים (ותשלום 900 פאונד נלווה כל פעם) או הוצאת אשרה בלתי מוגבלת (בעלות חד פעמית של 1200 פאונד) עכשיו קצת RTFM

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/settlement/ UKBA states that applications for indefinate leave to remain should be submitted 28 days before you are eligible to apply for this status, and not before. If your English is good enough, you'll pass the a1 level test with flying colours! Practically there is a period of grace, so as long as your application is in the post before the expiry of all your permits, you'd be OK. regards

את הבקשה הרשמית אני אגיש רק חודש לפני פקיעת התוקף של הויזה. מה שמשאיר לי חודשיים ללמוד ולעבור את המבחן. האנגלית עצמה לא מטרידה אותי כמו פרטי המידע הלא חיוניים (מספר האחוזים מכלל התלמידים שלומדים בבתי ספר פרטיים וכו'..) ואני סתם נלחצת מבחינות באופן כללי, ומכאן ההיסטריה

(שלא לדבר על העובדה שהזמנתי חופשה קטנה באיטליה לסוף אפריל, ועכשיו תהיתי באם ייתנו לי להכנס חזרה לאנגליה אם אני לא אסדר את כל אלו בזמן. אני מעדיפה לא לבדוק את האופציה של "מה יקרה אם"

to sound negative, but you have to be a bit cautious; the home office is not renown for it's efficiency; when you submit your application, you have to send your passport in, and it will not be returned to you before the process is completed. while they are processing your application...... see under this link: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/settlement/# *Frequently Asked Questions What is my immigration status while my application is being decided? If you make an application before your authorised stay ends, your existing immigration status will continue until your application is decided, even if the decision is not made until after the end of your permitted stay. If your existing visa or other permission to stay here allows you to work, you can continue to do so until your case is decided. so you don't need to worry - while you are still in the UK. Your planned holiday- around Easter time, is too close for comfort; the home office standards are that they decide 95% of their applications in 6 months time, so that's a bit useless; if the home office holds your passport while they are deliberating, you can not leave the country. [you can have your passport back, but then you have to re-apply..] one thing you may both do is to appear in person at the office at Croydon- fix a personal appointment in March and ensure that you have all the documentation at hand when you appear. this will cost more, but it is the only practical way to expedite the process! ring their helpline to fix an appointment. אין שום סיכוי שאני שולחת את הדרכון בדואר. כמו בפעם האחרונה - משלמת יותר ונוכחת במקום. ככה גם עשיתי כשקיבלתי את הכרטיס לפני שנתייםץ איטליה באפריל ומאי אנחנו בארץ. אם לא ייתנו לי להכנס חזרה, אני אשאר בארץ, בשמש. ק. יחזור הביתה לטפל בחתולים
