The new Clexane
Hi girls, I need your help... I am going to start treatments this month - finally. Insemination with some hormonal support (with puregon I think). After Pitz's story and others I decided to consult a hematologist (I have factor V Leiden - tendency for clots). Yesterday I was there. He was very nice and decided to do some additional blood tests (one for factor 2, and the other for some antigen for lipids or something like that - I will read about it only if I have it, I have enough scary thoughts as it is- which can also cause infertility - I can get the name if you want to check it as well. In the meantime he recommended that I take Clexane while taking the hormones. All good so far. But - I picked up the Clexane yesterday afternoon. I'm used to taking Clexane before flights but I had the old injections. Now I got the new ones and my god! These things are HUGE!!!! What the $§%&???!!! Anyways, the instructions are of course in German. So I don't get them. I figured out these are the new ones, with the automatic needle cover system, but that's about it. Is there anything I need to know before using these? I mean anything different in the way of injection from the old ones?? My husband said he will try to translate it for me today. But his German is also not perfect and he is not known for his patience... So if you have the new ones, and have used the old ones can you please tell me if there is a difference in use?
