Hello, my daughter is 4 months old and for the last few weeks her 2 side teeth are growing, ( I don't know what they are called, but they are the 'vampire' ones) My question is if it's ok or is there something for me to worry about as I was told that these teeth should not be the first ones to appear. If they are indeed the "vampire" teeth than they are called Canines. Usually the Incisors come out first but there is a lot of variation and anyway you can't do anything but wait in see. The recommendation is to visit a pediatric dentist when the child is about one year old or 6 months after the first tooth comes out.
