to Peta who taught me a different kind of love. Its almost nine years since you ended your life, but I do not ask why , anymore A poem I found which expressed my feelings at that time I face the world with a smile No one knows whats hidden inside They only see happiness They can´t see the tears I´ve cried When I´m alone I hurt But here I hide it well In front of watchful eyes My heaven turns to hell The judge and the jury awaits me everyone has a say In a life that hangs suspended for yet another day Who are they to judge If what I´ve done is right or wrong In the end I´ll give her up But inside still sing her song I don´t know how to find the strenght I thought I had If only I could play tough It wouldn´t be so bad They say that life goes on And someday I will smile again But how do they know my pain Without being where I´ve been I´ve travelled so far from home And cannot find my way back Somewhere along the way I must have jumped the track I saw her in my dreams today Her smile is just the same She looked at me so sweetly But will never again speak my name I wonder if she remembers me It hasn´t been that long She may not be here with me But I still sing her song And to my new love Gili sweetheart It took a long time but I found you I open my eyes to new love Take steps to new beginnings Slowly remove the wall aound my heart Able to give more freely of myself Feeling emotions thought to be lost Looking at today and seeing tomorrow Sleeping less and living more Enjoying everyday whilst I´m in it
