Kylie's triumphant 'Showgirl - The Greatest Hits Tour' comes to DVD on November 21st. This dazzling live extravaganza pays homage to the showgirl, one of the most exotic icons of the 20th century and represents Kylie's finest moments in music, performance and style. Who could forget that 'infamous' corset, the truckloads of feathers, the amazing stage set, those groundbreaking dance routines, the stunning costumes and, of course, all those classic hits spanning the last 17 years? No wonder Kylie sold out a staggering 23 nights in the UK alone, breaking the record for the most nights played by a female performer at London's Earls Court Arena, the Birmingham NEC and Glasgows S.E.C.C. (The record at the Manchester Evening News Arena is still held by Kylies Fever tour!) If you went to one of the shows here is your chance to relive the magic of that special evening; if you missed out then here's your opportunity to be part of the audience for the biggest and most ambitious show of Kylie's career. From the Moulin Rouge to the Folies Berger, from the Doris Girls of the Paris Lido to the entertainment palaces of Las Vegas, from the underground burlesque bars of Soho to the Busby Berkeley musicals of the thirties, Kylie's show pays tribute to the showgirl in all her forms and guises. The DVD release of 'Showgirl' will feature a brand new edit of the show to the one that was broadcast in the UK and includes a behind-the-scenes documentary looking at all aspects of the show's creation from set design and costumes through to music and choreography. Extras include 'Showgirl' screen visuals and a ROM section featuring wallpapers and screensavers for your PC! 'Kylie - Showgirl' will be released in the UK on November 21st, in Japan on November 16th, and in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Ireland on November 18th. The show will also be broadcast on TV across Europe throughout November - Eastern European fans can catch the show on HBO on 5th November.
