HIS FACE IS REALLY RED .HE THROWS HIS JACKET TO THE FLOOR. (CHERRY) MOM: What’s wrong with you!! Come and eat! I made beef and rice with beans. Diego: throws all his books to the floor and he breaks the window Mom: Your father is in the bar across the street .He’s gambling and drinking .Go before he loses all his money and tell him to come home; dinner is ready. Diego: Ok mom, I am going .Can you give me some money after? And mom, I am not feeling well enough to go to work today I am going to chill out with my friend and drink beer. Mustafa: (the husband, returns home) Hi Cherry where is the food? Mom: it’s on the table. Mustafa: I have to tell you something. Mom: What is it? You don’t look too happy. (She goes and sits on the chair next to him) Mustafa: I lost my paycheque. Mom: How??? Mom: I told you not to go there .How are we going to pay the rent? Mustafa: I will find a way! Mom: Ok let me call Diego. (She reaches for the phone and punches in the number) after a few minutes Mustafa: Cherry, Diego didn’t answer. Diego enters the door looking happy Diego: Hey mom I just won $6000 dollars in the casino. Mom: That’s great because we will be able to pay the rent now. Diego: I will pay the rent but the rest I will spend it on my girlfriend .She is coming tomorrow to the house. Mom: Thank you Diego, but I will not be home tomorrow … I have a doctor’s appointment. Next day Diego: Mom did you send the police to my girlfriend’s house!! Mom: Yes I did Diego: But why did you send them, what’s wrong with you??? Mom: Because she stole all my expensive jeweler Diego: No she didn’t!!! Mom: Yes she did!!! Because I saw her wearing my jewelry yesterday. Mom: Diego okay bring your girl friend to the house and make her explain to me what happened here when I wasn’t home. Diego: okay mom I will call her to come over. (The girlfriend come’s to the house). Mom: Diego ask your girlfriend why she stole my jewelry. Girlfriend: I didn’t steal year jeweler, I just borrowed them because my mom had a Birthday .So I decided to take your stuff to wear for the party .I was going to bring it back. Mom: Why didn’t you ask me?? Diego: No you should have asked me. Mom: So where is my jewelry? I know that you didn’t steal the jewelry because of your mom’s Birthday …If you have a problem tell me…! Diego: Why did you call to the police on my girlfriend? Mom: When I came home I saw that my jewelry box was open. That’s why I called the police. Next day Diego: My girlfriend’s coming over tonight. Mom: Why? Just to make me mad!!! Mom: I can’t believe that you still trust her after she was a thief and a liar. Diego: well I am going to Mexico with her!!! (The back door opens and Mustafa walks in.) Mustafa

Tow weeks later Diego and his girlfriend return from Mexico the look very happy carrying suitcases. Diego: guess what we got married in Mexico and the family is happy for the news.
