Question regarding "vitur ezrachut"

I am sorry if this question was asked before, but the search option does not seem to be working for me today. In case this was debated before, a link would suffice as well. I am currently in the process of obtaining a German citizenship based on having lived in Germany for long enough (8 years). As you might know, part of the procedure is giving up the Israeli citizenship. My question is whether someone has gone through this (or a similar procedure) and has any insight regarding the length of the procedure. What should I be expecting? A month, three months, six months? Or maybe even a longer period? Any information would be greatly helpful! Toda Raba!

renouncing Israeli Nationality

This is the official procedure from Mishrad Hapmim. please read carefully, so, as long as you can prove that the grant of German nationality is SOLELY dependent on renouncing your Israeli nationality, the process on the Israeli side should not take long at all. I would say 6 months at the most - PROVIDING you supply all the relevant information promptly. good luck 4.7.001​

Although I personally do not need it, as all the paper work is pretty much done and has already been submitted to the embassy in Berlin, I sure do appreciate the time and effort you have put into your comprehensive answer.
