probably already talked this over
but still... was just wondering... we've talked very often about our reasons for leaving Israel, about our identities as Israelis living abroad etc. etc., but no one besides the Ro and me have actually mentioned another side in their identities which is not israeli. And there comes the question - is there any? I guess that a part of the Israeli identity is taking in people from other cultures and naturalise them. It somehow didn't really work with my family, so Poland has always remained some sort of a real alternative a bit beyond jokes about the Polish gran.
