priliminary base

כידוע,רוב הקיפולים מתחילים מבסיס ראשוני המכיל 4 "דשים" קיפלתי היום טרנטולה אך יצאו לי רק 3 רגליים,שני מחושים ו 2 רגליים קצרות על מנת שאוכל להוסיף עוד רגל בכל צד, אני צריך לנסות להתחיל מבסיס המכיל 6 דשים(או אפילו 8(עדיף6,לצורך העניין) פעם ידעתי איך לעשות זאת,אך אני לא זוכר יש למישהו לינק או הסבר שיכול לעזור(עד שאקנה את הספר חרקים השני של לאנג-שם יש קיפול של טרנטולה ממש מוצלחת תודה מראש, אייל

bases with 6-7 points

Eyal I'm not familiar with the tarantula But efficient bases with 6 points are essential for animal design, so I've developed a few One of the most interesting & simple bases is a cross between a frog and a bird base (diagrammed in the IOC Convention Book). I came up with & published this base 15 years ago but it is so obvious its not possible I was the first Make a frog base only on 2 opposite sides of the preliminary base. With one of the 'frog' sides face up, petal-fold the rest of the prelim base as if making a bird base The resulting base has 4 long points (the corners), two squat points (paper-edge centers) and the squat point of the prelim-base (paper centerpoint) Designed from this base: Standing Man, Whooping Cranes, Horse & Rider. sorry Eyal I'm not at home & my computer anyway's being repaired. A frog base is the preliminary fold, with each of the four edges squashed and then petalfolded Instead of squashing & petal-folding all four, squash & petal fold only TWO, on opposite sides of the prelim base Then make a large petal fold (once) with the rest But the easiest thing is to get a Convention Book from somebody S

as much as i tried ,i failed to do so. it sounds like it us not difficult ,but stll i coudnt get it done according to you instruction. in order do succeed in creating 4 long legs to the fold(the tarantula) i have to change the first step from ordinary primilinary base with 4 dashes ,to one with 6 dashes(looking from the front ,it still should look as square) so thanks anyway,i hope i will finally get it correct if anyone has a link or a diagram showing how to do so,i would appriciate the help about purchasing the convention book(of complicated modelds)-i am planning to do so soon eyal

דרך פשוטה להרבה דשים

קפל בסיס ציפור מ-בלינץ כלומר הקטן את הריבוע לשנים על ידי קיפול כל פינה אל האמצע, ואחר קפל בסיס ציפור. אחר משוך את הפינות החוצה וקפל אותם למטה. כך יוצרו 8 פינות.
