1. כן אני נהנה (אבל אשתי הרבה פחות). 2. אני מרגיש שאני מתפתח ולומד (פחות ממה שציפיתי) אבל לדעתי הייתי יכול לעשות אותו דבר בישראל (לפחות מבחינת עבודת מעבדה). זה לא כמו שמדמיינים מעבדות אמריקאיות, אני לא נמצא במעבדה שאין בה מגבלת כסף וחושבים לפני כל הוצאה של כמה מאות דולרים (בתחום שלי היא מקבילה למעבדות טובות בישראל). מצד שני העבודה בסביבה שונה, צורת חשיבה אחרת והתנהלות אחרת של של קבוצת המחקר כן תורמים הרבה להתפתחות כמדען.
I've been asked about that by friends in Israel, and wondered if my answers are representing also for postdocs in other places. My answers: 1. No 2. What I learn makes me feel bad about the way science is done and I hope it does not evolve into this situation in Israel.
