Please help me with buying a Laptop

I'm looking to buy a laptop which will be good and fast and I'm having a hard time to decide between two comuters. I need the laptop with good and high performance for playing " Microsoft Flight Simulator X " with no interruptions. I'm also a graphic designer using heavy graphic softwares and big capacity graphic files (as Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamwaver, Flash and etc.). Please help me choose correctly between this two models : http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/cat_sku.asp?webid=706759&CatIds=83%2C84%2C85%2C4455&AffixedCode=WW&=&= http://www1.ca.dell.com/content/products/featuresdetails.aspx/inspn_1501?c=ca&l=en&s=dhs&cs=cadhs1&~lt=popup (The 499$ one at the bottom of the page). The thing is that I can't understand if it's better to take high performance processor like 2.2Ghz or it's better to the the 1.8Ghz Doul-core...? Thanks! Ronen.

Let's see

First of all the second link does not work. please fix it so we can decide. About the second link , it contains two different configurations ,the first one {the one wish AMD SEMPRON} is a students recomendation ,for office apps, music, watching videos etc... On the other hand the second one {with the Athlon X2} is for more heavy apps and also a dual core processor.. in other words the second one is a good choice for you. B-U-T you need to check what kind of display card in contains ..!!? for heavy graphics start with X1600 ATI / 7600 NVIDIA ..it is also recommend to take 2G RAM for graphic developing . understand this : Athlon 64 dual is for heavy computing ;Sempron for light apps --- form AMD likewise for Core Duo/Core 2 Duo and Celeron ...the rivals --- from INTEL ; celeron's for light computing and the others are for higher. *find out about the display card and make sure it is with dedicated memory *consider take 2G RAM

The display card is pretty average

for professional graphic you need something like X1600 / 7600 and higher, and again do not forget that display card is not the only factor you need : you also need at least 1G RAM and a good processor . Try look for confugrations such as: processor CORE DUO/CORE 2DUO/ATHLON X2 RAM SIZE 1G minimum display card ATI X1600 or the rival NVIDIA 7600 those are the three important factors you should be looking for !

which of the both...

I guess that because everything else is upgradeable pretty easily my main conflict is between the two processors: 2.2GHz AMD Turion 64 MK-38 Processor (512KB L2 cache) or AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TK-53 (1.8Ghz with 512Khz) The first is very strong for laptops, 2.2Ghz. The second one is only 1.8Ghz but Duol-Core Athlon X2. Which of the both is better for me and for working with high need's games and graphical softwares?
