The topic is: Many people find satisfaction in doing volunteer work. Describe some volunteer work you have done or would like to do. Say what you think you have gained/might gain from the experience. Helping abandoned children Last year, on my summer holiday, I decided to help and support abandoned children. I volunteered at the "Hadasa" hospital in Jerusalem twice a week from morning to evening. This experience was unique and different. These abandoned children usually have families, but their families suffer from poverty and can't afford to take care of them. From the first moment I felt comfortable among the children. In addition, working directly with the children helped me a lot. I offered my love and care for every child in the hospital. I took the children outside from their rooms and played with them in the nearby park. I also fed the children when it was necessary. In conclusion, I feel confident that this experience helped me to understand that my love and interest for the abandoned children is mainly as a result of the love God shows for each of us. These children are like any other children although they were treated less. I didn't wasted my time with something that wasn't worthy. Nothing in the world would please me more than this wonderful experience.
