Job Description:
A profitable search engine startup is looking for a software engineer - Big data
We are looking for an excellent Software Engineer to develop and maintain key components in our data processing infrastructure.
If you like using cutting edge technologies to create scalable, high performance software that handles terabytes of data, Pipl is the place for you.
Requirements
B.Sc. or B.A. in Computer Science or an a similar degree – required
At least 3 years of experience with any OOP language – required
Good knowledge of Python, Ruby, Scala or a similar language
Experience developing client-server systems - required, distributed systems – an advantage;
Experience working with relational databases
Experience developing on Linux
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet changing deadlines/priorities in simultaneous projects.
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; enjoy working in both individual and team settings.
Very High Proficiency in both speaking and writing English.
