paying in the USA

hi i have a problem purchasing a laptop in the USA because my credit card is Israeli, does any body has any solution for that problem? i thought about letting a friend buy for me and i will give him cash, but i think the commission fee is too high if i pull money from ATMs. Thanks, Tomer.

Can you pull money from the ATM?

If you can use your card for money withdrawal from the ATM it is possible that you can pay with it in the US regardless it was issued in Israel. Check again your card. If it is Mastercard, the number is of 4 groups of 4 digits starting with 5326 or visa same 4 groups of 4 digits starting with 4580 There is a good chance you can use it abroad. Why buying laptop there? I'm not sure it is a good idea, there is no customs on computers and you'll not have any warranty for such a delicate product.
