NO. 50/2011 Dredging operations in bay of Haifa Sunday, 27 November 2011 15:20 Subject: Dredging operations in bay of Haifa. Charts affected: Survey of Israel - chart no. 305 B.A. chart no. 1585. This is to advise all mariners that the dredger "E.T.D. SIMI" is engaged in dredging operations near Haifa Port break- water. Position of dredger "E.T.D. SIMI" - 32° 50'. 5 N 035° 03'. 1 E Position of sand collecting barge - 32° 50'. 5 N 035° 03'. 2 E The dredged sand is conveyed by a pipe from the dredger to the barge. The pipe is marked by flashing lights of 30 cm. interval. Dredging operation will complete on 11th December 2011 about. All vessels in the vicinity are requested to navigate with extreme caution.
