This is to advise all mariners that the Rig ENSCO 5006 will move from "SHIMSHON" gas field to "LEVIATAN" gas field on the 2nd August 2012.


ENSCO 5006 new drilling location will be in position:
33° 00, 4' N 033° 43, 3' E
from 3rd August until 3rd September 2012.

All vessels are requested to keep 5 Nautical Miles clear distance from ENSCO 5006.

This is to advise all mariners that service boat "JACOMINA" will be engaged in under water works 1.5 Nautical Miles NW off Ashdod Port break water.


The vessel will be anchored by four anchores in position:
31° 51, 27' N 034° 37, 4' E
From 29 July until 4th August 2012.

All veseels are requested to keep clear distance of 1 Nautical Mile from "JACOMINA".

This is to advise all mariners that the area bound by the following positions is declared as "Navigation Danger Zone".
This notice will be in force on the 31st July from 1500 hr. until 1900 hr. and on the 1st and 2nd August 2012, from 1300 hr. until 1700 hr.
All vessels are requested to avoid crossing this area during the above mentioned time.

NO. 50/2012 Gas Platform "Mari-B" - RE-ACTIVATED

Subject: Gas Platform "Mari-B" - RE-ACTIVATED.
Charts affected: Survey of Israel - Charts no. 1 and 23. B.A. - Chart no. 2634.

This is to advise that the gas platform "Mari-B" in position: 31° 44' 08" N 34° 17' 42" E has been re-activated.

The platform is fitted with navigation lantern flashing Morse Code "U" visible 10 miles and a foghorn sounding the Morse Code of the letter "U".

All vessels (fishing vessels included) approaching a distance of 5 Nautical Miles from the platform, shall initiate and maintain radio contact with the platform or with RCC Haifa on Channel 16 VHF.

ASll craft in the vicinity are advised to maintain a safety radius of 3 Nautical Miles at least.
Furthermore, a 3 cables (500 meters) radius, non-entry zone is established around the outer edge of the platform.

This zone is a non-entry zone for all surface or sub-surface craft and as such will be protected by the necessary defence measures warranted by circumstances.
