NEWS FLASH Halmich considering retirement! Legendary female boxing champion Regina Halmich could be stepping into the ring for the last time on September 15th in her hometown of Karlsruhe. "It would be nice if I could have my last fight in Karlsruhe," said Halmich. "But to my knowledge nothing is signed." The 30-year-old WIBF flyweight champion is expected to fight once in the spring before ending her career in September.
