Hello As I mentioned last week, the 150 Citaros in London were suddenly withdrawn from service pending safety modifications . But buses had to be found for the routes served by the citaros. The routes were 18 507 521 RV1 453 436. here are some photos of the buses that served the routes while the citaros are away. regards Yoram

route 18
Route 18 was always a double deck route, but converted to artics last year. First group- the route operator drafted in double decks again for the 18. Interestingly, since First took delivary of many double decks since the 18 went artic, most of the bus types were 'firsts'. Here is a brand new Wright body Volvo [- it hasn't even been fitted with radio or a ticket machine] at Euston.

Last week, for two days, Metroline were contrtacted to supply 6 buses and drivers. Here is VPL176 from AC garage loading up at Euston at 074 5am.
