Wotan (or any other spelling form of The Thousand Named) is the german name of Odhinn. Or else I am mistaken, since the Allfather didn't tell me his german name by the occasion... We had more urgent matters to discuss... But folks, especially Alon, please don't take me for offence, I don't mean, just tired after an 8 h night shift... And aye, dear Rasputin Ivan Ivanych, I am an Asatruar, a zealot of Odhinn, Thor, Frigg, Ingvi and the rest of the Aesir and the Vanir, wassail their name! As for Seidr, it is far from me at this stage of my life, so I tend to be a much more careful listener on the issue, than a teller... With frith!

Wotan is indeed one of the German Gods. Perun, on the other hand, is of Slavic Pantheon. Sorry for not making the distinction clear.

Oh interesting.

Asatru is one of the religions I'm most interested with- because when it comes to religions, when there is a controversy- I gotta check it out. After a basic study and a some chit-chat with folks who chose this path as their life's worldview I realized that it's not for me. I tried to keep in touch with the Norse spirituality by a massive interest with Seidr, but other people who are more fanatical about "their ancestors gods" than me, quickly drove me off the idea. It's the same with thr runes. Nevertheless one of my dreams is to try and call the Gods myself, just to make sure they are there, by visiting the sacred places in Northern Europe.

כמו שהזכרתי לפני במיוחד בתחום האסטרו יצא לי לדבר עם כמה אנשים מאוד פאנאטים, הם מחזיקים מהאלים שלהם ישויות חזקות. למרות קיבלתי את הרושם שבד"כ האלים הם יותר אנושיים מאנושיים, אבל למאמינים שלהם יש גם חלק בהצגתם.
